Dustin began his career as an electrician at the age of 15 when his brother hired him to work during the summers and evenings throughout his high school years.
In 2006 Dustin and his brother started D & J Custom Electric (Colorado State License #7214). They had an amazing first couple of years, and then when the market crashed in 2008, they struggled through as did many others. At that time, Dustin’s brother was offered an opportunity to attend law school in Arizona, which he accepted. The partnership between Dustin and his brother was then dissolved since his brother held the Master's License.
Since that time, Dustin obtained his Masters License and started his own company, Genesis 1:3 Electric. This provided him with the opportunity to set new goals and run his company in a way that wasn’t possible in a partnership. Dustin’s main goal is to provide his customers with high-end, top-of-the-line workmanship and customer service at every opportunity. Dustin doesn’t want to be just a "one job, one-time" electrician; he wants to be his customers’ electrician for the next 20 years to come. With Genesis 1:3 Electric, you can expect honest, detailed bids that cover all associated costs for your project.
